जब वह 19 साल की थीं, तब एप्पलगेट ने एक स्ट्रिपर के रूप में काम करना शुरू किया। बाद में उन्होंने एक नग्न मॉडल, बुत मॉडल और नृत्य शिक्षक के रूप में काम किया।

एप्पलगेट ने व्यक्तिगत प्रशिक्षण प्रमाणन अर्जित करने के लिए पाठ्यक्रमों में भाग लिया। एप्पलगेट के लंबे समय के साथी बिल बेली की मार्च 2019 में मृत्यु हो गई।[2][3]
8 दिसंबर 2019 को एप्पलगेट ने एक बेटे को जन्म दिया।[4]
