• Thich Quang Duc was a Buddhist monk who self-immolated in protest against the religious policies of President Ngo Dinh Diem of South Vietnam
• The image is used to discuss the subject
• Picture is not reproducible since the subject is deceased and a free portrait cannot be found.
• It is of low resolution and is only used for educational purposes
• Use of the picture does not damage the commercial prospects, more so since the picture is often distributed to Buddhists without being sold
• The image may actually be free since it is distributed without being sold. Further clarification is being sought from source.
