बाज़ारक (दरी फ़ारसी: بازارک, अंग्रेज़ी: Bazarak) उत्तर-पूर्वी अफ़ग़ानिस्तान के पंजशीर प्रान्त की राजधानी है। यह १०० किमी लम्बी पंजशीर वादी के लगभग मध्य में स्थित है और यहाँ पर बसने वाले अधिकतर लोग ताजिक समुदाय के हैं। यह प्रसिद्ध अफ़ग़ान नेता अहमद शाह मसूद का जन्मस्थान है और उनका मकबरा भी यहीं स्थित है।[2]

माना जाता है कि 'बाज़ारक' किसी छोटे बाज़ार के लिए प्रयोग होने वाला शब्द है। प्राचीन यूनानी भूगोलशास्त्री टोलेमी ने अपनी लिखाईयों में एक 'बरज़ौरा' (Barzaura) नामक क़स्बे का ज़िक्र किया था जो शायद आधुनिक 'बाज़ारक' ही है।[3] ठीक इसके पास हिन्दु कुश पर्वतों में एक 'बाज़ारक दर्रा' नाम का दर्रा है जो नीचे बाज़ारक के क़स्बे में ले जाता है। मध्यकाल में यहाँ मुग़ल सल्तनत ने अधीन यह क्षेत्र भारत में शामिल हुआ। अकबरनामा में लिखा है कि सम्राट अकबर यहाँ आए थे।[4] जब राजा मान सिंह को अफ़ग़ानिस्तान का सूबेदार (राज्यपाल) बनाकर भेजा गया तो वे भी बाज़ारक में ठहरे थे।[5]
