लेडो रोड

लेडो मार्ग , असम के लेडो से होते हुए , चीन के कुनमिंग ( यून्नान ) तक जाने वाला मार्ग है जिसे द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के समय बनाया गया था। इसका निर्माण इसलिये करना पड़ा क्योंकि बर्मा-मार्ग को जापानियों ने १९४२ में ही काट दिया था अतः चीन के लिये एक वैकल्पिक मार्ग की आवश्यकता थी ताकि पश्चिमी मित्र देश चीन तक सामान की आपूर्ति कर सकें। १९४५ में इसका पुनर्नामकरण किया गया और इसका नाम 'स्टिलवेल मार्ग' कर दिया गया जो अमेरिका के जनरल जोशेफ स्टिलवेल के नाम पर था।
