What is still expected from this article:

The रामायण article has improved enormously, thanks to everybody's help. I just have one request. In my opinion more Reference-footnotes (they are footnotes; but they are references) need to be added. The gereneral references already given can be used. Just to be a bit more specific, more specific sources can be added. For example
Of my understanding, this sentence means that the रामायण text was writen in 600 BC. But the English Wikipedia says:
In its current form, the Valmiki Ramayana is dated variously from 500 BCE to 100 BCE, or about co-eval to early versions of the Mahabhārata.
It is therefore we need to know where the information on the Hindi Wikipedia comes from. You can use any of the ones you have already put (those are these ones:
This is coming from note4. Life, Thought and Culture of India — “The Valmiki Ramayana: A Study”। Centre of Studies in Civilizations, नया दिल्ली। . Looks like some issue with the template so link is not pointing to correct reference. with reference. Also from english wikipedia in the Textual history section it is mentioned that - The events of the epic have also been dated to as early as 6000 BC by adherents of archaeoastronomy.[17]. So, there seem to be talk about two things (1) Ramayana in general and (2) About Valmiki Ramayana. (1) being in existence since 6000BC and (2) from around 500-100 BC.
Sorry, I do not understand. For me the footnote is working, just clcik [४], and on the bottom click [४.१] and [१.२] to get up to the correct places. Otherwise, can you please explain what you meant? Thank you.
These are needed to be a bit more specific and you can use the same source more than once (pages); as used in the English Wikipedia. This is at the bottom of the English Wikipedia article about Ramayana:

It is clearly visible thatt for example that "Goldman, Robert P., The Ramayana of Valmiki: An Epic of Ancient India" is used in the General References; and more specifically for each occasion in the footnotes. This needs to be fixed, and this article can become an article like this:  ! Just one more push. That's all that is needed!

So I have added the Template:टीका-नहीं template on that page, which sums everything up.

To make it more clear, I have separated these into two section (like english wikipedia). More specific information like page numbers are still missing though.--मितुल १९:२०, २ फरवरी २००७ (UTC)
