There is a need to invent some words for Hindi Wikipedia, this page will serve as an area for discussing new words and substitutes for English words.

  • प्रबन्धक पद के लिये निवेदन
  • प्रशासक पद के लिये निवेदन
  • प्रशासक पद हेतु निवेदन
  • प्रबन्धक पद हेतु निवेदन

All of those sound fine to me, but if we go with the second or third options, we'd need to change the name for admins, since we've already gone with प्रबन्धक. The first set has the advantage of simpler words, but the second set is shorter. I guess I'd prefer the first. - Taxman ०४:१३, ५ मार्च २००७ (UTC)

Can we have something that sounds less authorative like व्यवस्था स्वयंसेवक or something even flatter. Although its not that marked here, but in Nepali wikipedia, we had a lot of requests for adminship from new users who are willing to contribute. If we oppose, they will vanish which is bad for wikipedia and in the mean time you cannot have everyone as a sysop.--युकेश १८:११, ९ मार्च २००७ (UTC)

Does स्वयंसेवक translate to "caretaker"? Anyway, I am changing it to प्रबन्धक पद के लिये निवेदन, if anyone has other ideas, they may notify us here.
