sainis and malis are different caste after 1937 rajput malis of rajasthan changes their name to sainik kshatriya and after that changes sainik to saini and malis who are vegetable farmers in up and rajasthan also starts using saini surname.According to 1901 census real sainis are found only in undivided punjab.Shoosainis are a branch of jadunbnshi yaduvanshi clan.But some other caste such as gole,mali,maurya,koeri,kushwaha ,shakya claims themselve as Suryavanshi saini.But these are not saini sub clans they are fake groups.
