"थाइसेनोप्टेरा": अवतरणों में अंतर

थ्रिप्स या झल्लरीपक्ष प्राय: शाकाराही होते है और फूलों के अंदर कोमल पत्तियों के गुच्छों पर, छाल के नीचे अथवा वृक्षफेन (galls) में पाए जाते हैं। ये फूल, फल, शाक, सब्जी तथा खेत की फसलों के शत्रु हैं। झल्लरी पक्षों में कुछ कीट फसलों के प्रसिद्ध पीड़क (pest) हैं, जिनमें मुख्य प्याज का थ्रिप्स, (थ्रिप्स टबेसी Thrips tabeci L.), मिर्चा थ्रिप्स (Scirto thrips dorsalis, H.), धान भ्रिप्य (Thrips ordozoe, W.), अंगूर थ्रिप्स (Rhipiphora thrips cruentatus, H.) और चीनिया बादाम थ्रिप्स (Helio thrips indicus, B.) हैं।
