"विकिपीडिया:प्राधिकरण नियंत्रण": अवतरणों में अंतर

छो →‎LCCN
ce, changed a tense from "have been" to "were"
पंक्ति 5:
The template can display identifiers from the following authority files: GND (German National Library), LCCN (Library of Congress), SELIBR (National Library of Sweden), VIAF (Virtual International Authority File by the Online Computer Library Center) and ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID). VIAF combines authority records from around 20 national libraries and other authority files like the Getty Union List of Artist Names.

To add additional value for the reader, the identifiers are linked to the corresponding entries in the online databases of the Virtual International Authority File, the German National Library and the contents of the LibaryLibrary of Congress' authority records hosted by the Online Computer Library Center. These links are expected to change when better tools become available that use these identifiers to present the readers with access to online catalogues and other sources of information about the article's subject.

The inclusion of authority data in Wikimedia projects was pioneered by the German Wikipedia at the request of the German library community. 2012, the German Wikipedia had over 220,000 articles tagged with "Normdaten". 2012, Wikimedia Commons had over 31,000 categories tagged with Authority control. The English Wikipedia currently has articles tagged with Authority control.
पंक्ति 44:

SELIBR
The identifier used by the National Library of Sweden cacan also be found via viaf.org. The VIAF datasets containing such identifiers link to the authority records at libris.kb.se. Copy the number in the last part of that web adressaddress and paste it into the SELIBR parameter in the template.

SWD and GKD
SWD and GKD are predecessors of the German GND file, containing keywords, organzations, events etc. These identifiers are used in only few articles on the English Wikipedia at the moment. Since SWD and GKD have beenwere merged with the GND in 2012, these parameters should not be used anymore.
