'''अक्कद''' या अगादे [[मेसोपोटामिया]] की प्राचीनकालीन सभ्यताओं में से एक था। इसका काल 2334-2154 ईसापूर्व के बीच था। इसके बाद और पहले [[सुमेरी सभ्यता]] का प्रभाव रहा पर इस काल में साहित्य का विकास हुआ। अपने पतन के ५०० सालों के बाद में [[अक्कदी भाषा]] ने सुमेरी भाषा का स्थान व्यवहार में आने वाली भाषा के रूप में ले लिया। आधुनिक [[यहूदी]] और [[अरब]] अपने को इन्हीं सम्राटों के वंशज मानते हैं।
