'''बांग्लादेश का स्वतंत्रता संग्राम''' १९७१ में हुआ था, इसे 'मुक्ति संग्राम' भी कहते हैं। यह युद्ध वर्ष १९७१ में २५ मार्च से १६ दिसम्बर तक चला था। इस रक्तरंजित युद्ध के माध्यम सेे बांलादेश ने पाकिस्तान से स्वाधीनता प्राप्त की। 16 दिसम्बर सन् १९७१ को [[बांग्लादेश]] बना था। भारत की पाकिस्तान पर इस ऐतिहासिक जीत को [[विजय दिवस]] के रूप में मनाया जाता है। [[पाकिस्तान]] पर यह जीत कई मायनों में ऐतिहासिक थी। भारत ने ९३ हजार पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों को घुटने टेकने पर मजबूर कर दिया था।
