Om pro.ogg

I am a professor of Physics at the Lake Campus of Wright State University. I do cannot read or write in Hindu. I am a Christian and have no desire to convert to Hinduism. However, I have great respect for the Hindu religion(s). Almost 40 years ago I learned Trancendental Meditation. My TM teacher requested that I never repeat my mantra to anyone. When my children were ready to learn to meditate, I taught them "Om". When I learned that Om as connected to Ganesha, I made the Ganesha-elephant using svg files on Wikimedia Commons. I added symbols from other religions so Christians, Moslems, Jews, and people of all other religions would feel comfortable meditating with this elephant.

But the real reason I am on this wiki is to see if anybody is interested in writing a Python code that would permit instructors and even schools to use the exam bank I am constructing. I am near retirement and don't think it likely that I will ever get much grant money for this project. Nevertheless, I am convinced that the cost of higher education in the US can and should be drastically reduced using AI. India could be part of that reform.
