यह एक प्रमुख खेल का मैदान हैं। इस मैदान की लागत ७००० करोड़ रुपए है। यह भारत के गुजरात प्रदेश के अहमदाबाद जिले के मोटेरा नामक स्थान पर बनाया गया है। इसके आर्किटेक्ट शशि प्रभु है तथा इसका निर्माण लार्सन एंड टुब्रो कंपनी द्वारा किया गया है, इस मैदान की कुछ खासियतें निम्न हैं -
यह मैदान पूर्ण रूप से भारत के साथ ही दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा और सबसे अधिक दर्शकों की क्षमता वाला स्टेडियम है। इस मैदान में एक साथ ४००० कारें और ३००० दो पहिया वाहनों की पार्किंग का उचित इंतजाम है इसके साथ ही स्टेडियम के ड्रेसिंग रूम में एक साथ चार क्रिकेट टीमों को तैयार और उनको उचित प्रबंध के साथ ठहराया जा सकता है। स्टेडियम की सबसे खास बात यह है कि खेल के समय अचानक बारिश होने पर क्रिकेट के इस मैदान को केवल आधे घंटे में ही पुनः खेलने लायक बनाया जा सकता है। इसका आधिकारिक नाम सरदार पटेल स्टेडियम है जिसे मोटेरा स्टेडियम के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
