पिछले कई सालों से हर साल तक़रीबन 65 लाख से 70 लाख प्रवासी एफ़िल टावर की सैर करने आते हैं। सबसे ज़्यादा 2007 में 69.60 लाख लोगों ने टावर में प्रवेश किया था। 1960 के दशक से जब से 'मास टूरिज़्म' का विकास हुआ है तब से पर्यटकों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी हुई है। 2009 में हुए सर्वे के अनुसार उस साल जितने पर्यटक आए थे, उनमें से 75% विदेशी थे। इनमे से 43% पश्चिम यूरोप से ओर 2% एशिया से थे। [https://archive.is/20130122053612/http://www.eiffel-tower.com/everything-about-the-tower/the-eiffel-tower-at-a-glance.html]
