"शब-ए-बारात": अवतरणों में अंतर

'''शब-ए-बारात''' दो शब्दों, ''शब'' और ''बारात'' से मिलकर बना है, जहाँ शब का अर्थ रात होता है वहीं बारात का मतलब बरी होना होता है। इस्लामी कैलेंडर के अनुसार यह रात साल में एक बार [[हिजरी|शाबान]] महीने की 14 तारीख को सूर्यास्त के बाद शुरू होती है। मुसलमानों के लिए यह रात बेहद ''फज़ीलत'' (महिमा) की रात मानीजाती है, इस दिन विश्व के सारे मुसलमान अल्लाह की इबादत करते हैं। वे दुआएं मांगते हैं और अपने गुनाहों की तौबा करते हैं।<ref name="ref64julix">{{Cite book|title=Law and order in upper India: a study of Oudh, 1856–1877 |author1=Dinesh Bihari Trivedi |author2=A.
