इस क्रिया का प्रयोग देश की आर्थिक उन्नति में बहुत ही सहायक है। इस क्रिया के द्वारा कपास, तंबाकू, गेहूँ, चावल, दलहन और दवाइयों में काम आनेवाले ऐसे पौधों का पर्याप्त विकास किया गया है जो हर वातावरण में अपने को ठीक रख सकें।
