Dear kingram, in Hindi there is not any single name as in English which is “Tide” for this phenomenon. We always use as "Jvaar-Bhaata" for Tide (where Jvaar (पानी चढ़ना या बढ़ना) indicate to Tide and Bhata (पानी उतरना या घटना) is indicate to Ebb).
