This template should only be used on highly notable missions which are expected to generate news. It should not be used for flights which are routine unradio controlled flights, for example communications satellites. Routine satellite missions are not usually considered newsworthy. It has been suggested that space station articles should not use this template, however this is disputed (see talk page).
Adding this template to an article places the article in श्रेणी:Current spaceflights.
