On Meta this template has intentionally no effect. On other projects it can be used to indicate that handbook templates are copies from the master template on Meta:

See en:Template:hh (backlinks, edit) for examples on Wikipedia, where {{hh}} is also generally used for help pages copied from Meta.

An older version of m:Template:hh (backlinks, edit) was obsoleted by hi, later replaced by h:hns, which now simply redirects to m:Template:h:h Help (backlinks, edit).
