They were highly pleased by the spiritual experiences, described in the poems.
- Such was the height and beauty of words and depth of the thoughts in Bhoja Bhaghat's songs.
- Though, Bhoja Bhagat was illiterate verbally but spiritually he was the master of the words. It was a miracle, raised by 'Kundalini Power' that made him a great saint, and a social reformer.
- He had performed many miracles, not for any worldly desire, but to lead the people on the right track of good conduct and spirituality.
- Among many miracles, the prominent are as follows :
[1] At the tender age of only six months, Bhoja Bhagat, performed a miracle, at the sculpture of Queen Minal devi of Gujarat, at the out skirt of Virpur, a town of great saint Jalaram. [2] From the birth up to the age of twelve years, he did not take any solid food, except the milk. So he was worshipped in the region as an 'Ascetic living on milk. [3] At the age of 25 years, Bhoja Bhagat came in the Amreli province and established a hermitage in Fattepur, at the distance of three kelo metres from Amreli. [4] He was a miraculous saint of high order, a marvelous poet, versatile religious leader, and an orator. Therefore a large number of people used to come to worship and serve him, hundreds of men became his disciples prominent among them are great saint Jalaram of Virpur and Bhakta Valamram of Gariyadhar in Saurashtra.
- In Amreli, in those days, Vithalrao Devaji, a brave and brilliant minister of Gaikwad State, ruled the province. Some envious people complained him that Bhoja Bhagat misleads the people by showing miracles.
- In order to test Bhoja Bhagat's ability, he brought him in his court and ordered him to show miracles in the open assembly. Bhoja Bhagat humbly requested the minister Vithoba, that he knows no miracles. The only miracle he does is to give food to the hungry and to help the needy and to pray the Almighty.
- Hearing this simple but true answer, Divan Vithoba was enraged. He put Bhoja Bhagat in Jail, ordered the servants to serve good food four times a day to him, because being a farmer he was accustomed to such habit.
- The soldiers kept watch on him. Bhoja Bhagat, by his yogic power, set in lotus-posture for fifteen days, without any movement or sleep, took food four times a day, but never went to answer nature's call. This was a great miracle.
- Divan Vithoba, knowing about this miracle personally came to Bhoja Bhagat, bowed at his feet and requested him to forgive and accept him as his disciple, and give Divine Knowledge.
- At this time, by natural power of 'Kundalini Shakti' Bhoja Bhagat sang 150 songs before him. These original poems are called 'Chabakha' 'Chabakha' means lashes. Just as by the stroke of a lash, an unruly horse, walks on a right path, So also by hearing there 'Chabakhas' illusioned soul, being enlightened walks on the path of light and knowledge. In addition to 'Chabakhas' he has composed other poems numbering in all 204. Five books about the life and literature of Bhoja Bhagat are published. Among them 'Bhoja Bhaghatani Vani' is the most important and the most popular book.
- In 'Bhojaldham' at Fattepur, district Amreli in Gujarat, in India, in a room where Bhoja Bhagat worshipped God, on the cot which he used, his turban, rosary and his foot-prints are preserved and worshipped.
- Bhoja Bhagat, left his mortal body on his own desire in the year A.D.1850, in Virpur[district-Rajkot], in the presence of great saint Jalaram, his ardent disciple, whom he had promised to bless with his last holy 'Darshan'.
