As written on User:MGA73 I try to make sure that all files on hi.wikipedia have a valid license. If possible I will copy free files to Commons.
This page contain tips and info about the progress. Atm. there are 4,587 files:
- Free files (Category:सभी मुक्त मीडिया): 42
- Non-free files (Category:सभी ग़ैर-मुक्त मीडिया): 4,559
- Files with no license (Category:Non Licensed Images): 0
The numbers should add up. The difference is either unlicensed files or that some license templates do not add files to any of the categories.
- A tool to make a list of files also on commons. You can use it by clicking here (tag them and then they end up in Category:Images on Wikimedia Commons)

Some files are nominated for deletion in:
- Ordinary deletion (Category:हटाने हेतु चर्चा के लिये नामांकित पृष्ठ): 0
- Speedy deletion (Category:शीघ्र हटाने योग्य पृष्ठ): 8
- Commons with same name (Category:Images with the same name on Wikimedia Commons): 0
- Commons with other name (Category:Images on Wikimedia Commons): 0
Total of 85 (May 25) but that could also include non-free files and some files could be in more than one category.
This page सदस्य:MGA73/WhereUsed has a list of all non-free files and where they were used on April 12, 2021. The page can be used to check orphan files to see if they were used somewhere on that day.
