"पकतिया प्रान्त": अवतरणों में अंतर

'पकतिया' को पहले 'पशतिया' ({{Nastaliq|ur|پښتیا}}) और कुछ विद्वानों का मानना है की [[पश्तो]] शब्द इसी से उत्पन्न हुआ है। किसी ज़माने में पकतिया, [[ख़ोस्त प्रान्त|ख़ोस्त]] और [[पकतीका प्रान्त|पकतीका]] प्रान्त एक ही सूबे के भाग हुआ करते थे और इन तीनों को अब '[[लोया पकतिया]]' (यानि 'बड़ा पकतिया') बुलाया जाता है।<ref name="ref96jujol">[http://books.google.com/books?id=bIznGb3I0M8C Decoding the new Taliban: insights from the Afghan field], Antonio Giustozzi, Columbia University Press, 2009, ISBN 9780231701129, ''...
