'''पोरबन्दर''' [[गुजरात]] का एक शहर है। पोरबन्दर बहुत ही पुराना बंदरगाह हुआ करता था | पोरबन्दर मे गुजरात का सबसे आछा समुंद्र किनारा है | पोरबंदर गुजरात राज्य के दक्षिण छोर पर अरब सागर से घिरा हुआ है। पोरबंदर का निर्माण जूनागढ़ से हुआ था। पोरबंदर [[महात्मा गाँधी]]जी का जन्म स्थान है इसलिए स्वाभाविक रूप से पोरबंदर में उनके जीवन से जुड़े कई स्थान हैं जो आज दर्शनीय स्थलों में बदल चुके हैं। 10वीं शताब्दी में पोरबंदर को पौरावेलाकुल कहा जाता था और बाद में इसे सुदामापुरी भी कहा गया।
