विलियम ऑफ़ ओकम (/ˈɒkəm/; also Occam, from लातिन: Gulielmus Occamus;[1][2] ल. 1287 – 1347) एक अंग्रेजी दार्शनिक और थेअलोजियन था। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इनका जन्म ओकम में हुआ था जो की सरी में एक छोटा सा गाँव है। [3] He is considered to be one of the major figures of medieval thought and was at the centre of the major intellectual and political controversies of the fourteenth century. He is commonly known for Occam's razor, the methodological principle that bears his name, and also produced significant works on logic, physics, and theology. In the Church of England, his day of commemoration is 10 April.[4]
