Try to use Western Arabic/European numerals
संपादित करेंHi Ashliveslove, I've started copy-editing in the articles created by you. There is one thing I'd like you to implement in your working habits which is the use Western Arabic/European numerals (1, 2, 3...) instead of Devanagari (१, २, ३...), because now most of the Hindi print media, books, periodicals, etc, use Western Arabic/European numerals only, like Dainik Jagran (most circulating Hindi newspaper) and Dainik Bhaskar (other major Hindi daily). Even majority of the native Hindi speakers don't understand Devanagari numerals. So, I expect your understanding in this, cheers :-). — Bill william comptonTalk 05:18, 1 दिसम्बर 2011 (UTC)

- Bill, that's the title with which the film was release in India. I can provide Sources too for that if you want. There are very few blockbusters released with a Hindi Title. - Ashliveslove, Hindi [along with other Indic] Wikipedia is already too much India oriented. If the film is released in Hindi with this title then it's fine. But you should always cite the title, so provide a reliable reference. This template places the url at the top right corner. That is also the location where the coordinates are visible(which will be hidden under this). Also, some users(like me) use a gadget to add an edit link for the top section. That link is also hidden by this template. Could you change the location where this template appears? - Actually, all we got to get placed at the top-right was the geographical co-ordinates if given in an article. Example: check the top-right corner in मुम्बई. This was done through edits to Mediawiki:Vector.css.
- However, what you need are topicons, which may be generated using templates similar to en:Template:Good article and en:Template:Featured article, which use en:Template:Top iconas their base. CSD Templates
संपादित करेंHi, I see you've been working on translating the CSD templates. I don't think you should be doing that since I'm planning to overhaul the CSD template system in a little while. Actually, we have a different CSD criteria than en-wp. So, even if we were to translate these templates, they would need to be moved around to new criteria numbers which would cause confusion. Plus, TW would be confusing with the moving around. So, I'm planning to create an entirely new template system along the lines of this one. But it's going to be a while before I do that. In the meantime, you're free to go ahead, but you should know that it all might be for nothing :)
And if you want to help with TW template translations, you could start with the welcome templates. You can find a list of welcome templates used by TW here.

आज का आलेख?
संपादित करेंI see that you listed समुंदर के लुटेरे: मुर्दे का खज़ाना for आज का आलेख, but placed an FAC template on the article. I just want to clarify, FAs(निर्वाचित लेख) and आज का आलेख are different. आज का आलेख is for articles under development that are way below the FA or even the GA level. The आज का आलेख requirements are विकिपीडिया:आज का आलेख आवश्यकताएं whereas निर्वाचित लेख requirements are विकिपीडिया:निर्वाचित_लेख_आवश्यकताएं. The article you nominated fits the FAC much better than आज का आलेख. The FAC nomination page is विकिपीडिया:निर्वाचित लेख परख, and I think you should place a nomination there(I'm assuming you nominated it for आज का आलेख by mistake). But if you made this nomination by choice, go ahead; it should pass आज का आलेख easily :)

फ और फ़
संपादित करेंAshu, there's a difference in the sounds of फ and फ़
फ़ (with the nukta)(U+095E) is the sound of the english "f". Its a en:Voiceless labiodental fricative.
फ (without the nukta)(U+092B) is the sound native to hindi.Its the aspirated variety of en:Voiceless bilabial plosive. (For the pronunciation, listen to the word phool in the song "Genda Phool" from Delhi-6.)
Most words native to hindi use फ (without the nukta), words from urdu and english use फ़ (with the nukta).
So anywhere an article name contains the english "f", like the flying falcons, फ़ is to be used, and its best to redirect the name using फ.
I hope the difference is clear. So plz move all the recent articles you made with फ instead of फ़ in the article name. Thanks :)
