Nawab Mir Nizam Ali Khan Siddiqi Bayafandi Bahadur Asaf Jah II (7 March 1734 - 6 August 1803) was the Nizam of Hyderabad State in southern India between 1762 and 1803. He was born on 7 March 1734 as Asaf for the fourth son Jah I and queen Umda its official name is Asaf Jah II, Nizam-ul-Mulk, Daula in-Nizam Uud, Nawab Mir Nizam Ali Khan Siddiqi Bayafandi brave, Fateh Jang, Sipah Salar, Nawab, captain of the Deccan .

Nizam Ali was appointed as Chief Commander and administrator of Deccan in the year 1759, the fight against his successful methods had earned the Marathas him a very strong reputation as a capable commander.
